The Manfrotto MVM500A is an aluminium 4-section fluid monopod with a specially adapted 500 video head. It is a lightweight setup for run-and-gun type shooting. This versatile monopod can often travel places tripods cannot, providing additional stability and supporting heavy equipment up to 11lb. With a maximum height of 78.9" and a minimum height of just 30.3", the MVM500A can be adjusted to suit users of varying heights and for various different tasks.

Versatile Monopod

The 4-section aluminum monopod covers a wide range of heights, from 30.3” minimum to 78.9” maximum. Ideal for videographers using DSLR’s and compact High Definition Camcorders, the monopod can support a payload of up to 11lb. The Power-Lock flip locks are as secure as they are easy to use. This expertly designed video fluid monopod also has an ingenious fluid cartridge at the base, so you can pan from one position to the next with complete smooth precision. Its three mini, retractable feet provide additional stability while shooting making smooth panning while recording possible. The Manfrotto MVM500A also features an Easy Link 3/8” connector to allow an external monitor, light or microphone to be securely attached to the head for even greater artistic freedom.

Integrated 500-Series Fluid Head

The special 500 video head features a wider platform to cater for DSLR bodies and incorporates a sliding plate which caters for a wide range of lens shapes and sizes to ensure correct balance. The quick-release plate mechanism features a side lock system which allows you to quickly click the plate into the head from above rather than align and slide the plate from behind. The head has a -70° / +90° fluid tilt range with independent tilt lock and fixed drag. It does not have a fluid pan movement and is not removable. It has both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws for attaching a wide variety of cameras and supports up to 11lb.
