The Fuji X100F Mirrorless Digital Camera is a sleek, high-powered point and shoots with a built-in 23mm (35mm equivalent for 35mm format) f/2 Fujinon prime lens. This black Fujifilm X100F is a versatile mirrorless camera characterized by its high-speed performance, advanced imaging capabilities.
24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III Sensor
The X-T20’s X-Trans III sensor produces extremely sharp and clear images throughout its normal ISO range of 200-12800, due to the omission of an optical low-pass filter. In addition to facilitating exceptional low-light use, the X-Processor Pro Engine also supercharges operation speed. Image processing, startup time, shutter lag, and general navigation have all been greatly reduced, while maximum continuous shooting increases to 8 fps. It extends the ISO-sensitivity range to 100-51200, and lets you capture Full HD video at 60p.
Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder
The Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder lets you switch between optical viewfinder (OVF) and electronic viewfinder (EVF) modes with a dedicated lever. The OFV has been updated with adjustable magnification from 2.5x or 6x for the electronic rangefinder function for more precise manual focus control. The OVF has its benefits in providing a clear, unadulterated view of the scene you're photographing and reduces the shutter lag time to a minimum. The high-resolution 2.36m-dot EVF provides you with 100% frame coverage and access to advanced electronic focusing options and precision manual focusing. For fine-tuning of focus, exposure, white balance, and other camera settings, the EVF gives you the ability to monitor all of the applied settings prior to making the exposure.
91-Point Autofocus System
The X100F’s hybrid autofocus system uses contrast- and phase-detection methods for fast, accurate performance. Its employs 91 total points, which can be divided into 325 total areas for a high degree of focusing accuracy in a variety of lighting conditions even when capturing a fast-moving subject. When working with autofocus, you can choose either single-shot AF-S mode or continuous AF-C mode, and each can be used in conjunction with Single Point AF, Zone AF, or Wide/Tracking AF settings.
Fujinon 23mm f/2 Lens
This integrated, fast, wide-angle lens provides a focal length equivalent to 35mm after sensor crop, making it a great single prime lens length for everyday shooting. It is designed as non-interchangeable and non-collapsible in order to gather the highest optical quality possible. The lens also uses one aspherical element to reduce spherical aberrations for improved sharpness, and a Super EBC coating has been applied to suppress lens flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color fidelity.
Film Simulation Modes
In addition to all the advances, the X100F includes several film-simulation modes to give your shots and footage a distinct look. These modes mimic the look and feel of some Fujifilm's classic film types. A refined Classic Chrome mode delivers muted tones and a deep color reproduction, Provia offers natural-looking tones for everyday shooting, Velvia produces a more dramatic & rich tonality with deeper color saturation, and Astia gives less contrast for a softer depiction of skin tones. Mimicking their negative films, Pro Neg. Std. gives smooth image tones that are suitable for accurate color renditions, while Pro Neg. Hi produces a more dramatic feel with the ability to draw color out of a variety of lighting conditions. In addition to the colorful benefits of these Film Simulation modes, there are also monochrome modes that simulate the look of traditional yellow, green, and red black and white contrast filters, as well as an Acros mode that can also be paired with colored filter effects. A sepia mode is also available for producing an inherently nostalgic look.
Ergonomics & Build
The camera body features a range of physical attributes. It sports control dials for precision adjustments, a Rear 3.0" 1.04m-dot LCD monitor, a 2.36m-dot Electronic Viewfinder that provides 100% frame coverage and Focus levers. Most of the controls buttons are on the right-hand side of the X100F for easy one-handed shooting.
Other Features
Other features include: Advanced Filters, An integrated 3-stop neutral density filter, Built-in Wi-Fi to wirelessly transfer images or remotely control the camera from a linked mobile device, Auto Macro mode for shooting as close as 3.9" away, Digital Teleconverter settings to simulate the look of a 50mm or 70mm lens, an Electronic Shutter function for high shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 sec, Physical exposure compensation dial featuring a C position to permit an expanded +/- 5 EV range when working with the control dials and a Physical Focus Lever that moves in 8 directions for tactile AF point adjustments.
Movri Canada, providing the mail-delivery system, is set out to make the gear available at more affordable prices through online rentals.
