The Fuji X-T3 blends a variety of well-loved features into one powerful multimedia tool that's ideal for casual and pro shooters alike. This black Fujifilm X-T3 is a versatile mirrorless camera characterized by its high-speed performance, more-than-capable imaging, and multimedia flexibility. The Fujifilm X-T3 is an update to the flagship original X-T2 mirrorless camera.
26.1MP X-Trans CMOS Sensor
The X-T3’s newly developed X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor boasts a back-illuminated design to afford smooth tonal rendering, improved low-light performance, and a low native ISO 160 setting. It still utilizes a randomized pixel array that promote high image quality throughout its normal ISO range of 160-12,800. In addition to facilitating exceptional low-light use, the X-Processor Pro Engine also supercharges operation speed. Image processing, startup time, shutter lag, and general navigation have all been greatly reduced, while maximum continuous shooting increases to 30 fps.
UHD and DCI 4K Video
More than a stills camera, The X-T3 offers a range of video capabilities. You get internal UHD 4K60p with video recording at 4:2:0 10-bit, and you can record clean, uncompressed HDMI output with 10-bit 4:2:2 color, both at up to 400 Mb/s. You can also record DCI 4K30 and Full HD 1080p120 and video files can be saved using either MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265 compressions, or 4K. In addition to the supported 10-bit color depth, the X-T3 also includes the F-Log gamma setting, which provides a flat picture for use in advanced color grading software during editing. When working in F-Log, an updated noise reduction algorithm is available along with 4K inter-frame noise reduction, and the minimum sensitivity has been lowered to ISO 640 to suit working in a broader range of scene types.
This maximizes the potential dynamic range in difficult scenes and image adjustments can be made, as well, to highlight tone, shadow tone, color, and sharpness. Complementing the imaging and focusing is the X-Processor 4, which uses four CPUs for faster image processing as well as continuous shooting up to 11 fps with a mechanical shutter, 30 fps shooting at a 1.25x crop and electronic shutter, and internal 4K60p 10-bit video recording. Also, the camera features a 3.5mm microphone jack and 3.5mm headphone jack for more advanced audio solutions.
Phase-Detection Autofocus System
This camera’s 2.16m-point phase-detection autofocus system provides fast, accurate performance in a wide range of lighting conditions down to EV -3. Improved face and eye-detection performance works even in AF-C mode, allowing you to focus-track moving portrait subjects with ease – even when photographing them from the side. This is ideal when working with children and pets.
Touchscreen LCD and OLED EVF
The 3.0-inch, 1.04m-dot rear touchscreen LCD features intuitive live view shooting, playback and review, and settings adjustment and menu navigation. It also has a three-way tilt mechanism to suit working from high and low angles regardless if shooting with a horizontal or vertical orientation. The X-T3 is equipped with a large .5" OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.75x magnification that remains blackout-free even when you’re shooting up to 30 fps. The EVF includes a Sports Finder mode, a 1.25x crop mode which marks a 16.6MP sensor-crop area so you can monitor your subject’s movement just outside the shooting frame. Fuji maintains its tactile and traditional top panel of dials. The viewfinder has been centralized for stability and comfort.
Film Simulation & Grain Effect Mode
In addition to all the advances, Fuji maintains its famous Film Simulations while offering a few new expressions. These modes mimic the look and feel of some of Fujifilm's classic film types, including Eterna, which copies the look of cinematic film with understated colors and richer shadow tones; Acros, which offers smooth tones, deep blacks, and fine detail; and Classic Chrome, which is designed to deliver muted tones and a deep color saturation & better gradation. Several other effects are also available for both monochrome and color shooting. In addition to simulating specific film types, a Grain Effect mode is also available to replicate the look of old film photos with an organic textured appearance, which is especially noticeable when printing.
Quality Build
This camera maintains much its predecessor’s layout, including locking functions on each control knob, and a focus lever for quick autofocus-point selection. The magnesium-alloy body is fully weather-sealed to protect against dust, moisture, and the cold. The X-T3 is powered by an NP-W126S battery and boasts two UHS-II compatible SD-card slots for a more flexible and reliable means of storing imagery. Additionally, the X-T3 also sports built-in Bluetooth for wireless sharing and remote control.
Movri Canada, providing the mail-delivery system, is set out to make the gear available at more affordable prices through online rentals.
