Wide-Angle Zoom
Ultra-wide and versatile, the FE 12-24mm f/4 G Lens from Sony is a flexible zoom lens for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. When used on a full-frame camera, this lens’s zoom range is really wide. Its field of view ranges from 122° at its widest to 84° at the long end. The constant f/4 aperture isn’t quite fast enough for low-light shooting, but it’s better than a variable-aperture zoom. 

Advanced Optics
The FE 12-24mm f/4 G’s thirteen-group/seventeen-element design includes four aspherical elements, three extra-low dispersion elements, and one super extra-low dispersion element to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations, and to produce clear, high-contrast images. A Nano AR Coating has been applied to reduce surface reflections, flare, and ghosting at bay while maintaining clarity and color fidelity. 

Direct Drive SSM Autofocus System
A Direct Drive Super Sonic wave Motor AF system and internal focus mechanism provides quick, quiet, and precise autofocus performance that’s great for still and video use. A dedicated focus hold button and AF/MF switch help to tailor focusing to your shooting needs.
