Movri provides Lens & Camera Rentals for professional photographers, videographers, filmmakers, and photography/videography hobbyists.
The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon is part of Sigma's Art line of lenses designed to achieve optical performance that is suited specifically for creative and artistic applications.
Fast-Aperture Prime
The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art for Nikon offers a fast f/1.4 aperture, which is ideal for low lighting conditions, narrow depth of field. With a fast maximum aperture of f/1.4, this lens is well suited for beautiful out of focus backgrounds for portraits.
Optics
The optical layout incorporates One F Low Dispersion (FLD) element, four Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements and two aspherical elements which help to limit distortion & spherical aberrations and also contributes to greater overall sharpness and accurate rendering. Floating elements system helps to realize consistent optical performance throughout the focusing range, from 11.8" to infinity. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has been applied to lens elements in order to minimize lens flare and ghosting and contribute to producing contrast-rich and color-neutral imagery, even in backlit conditions. Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth and pleasing bokeh quality.
HSM Motor
The integrated HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) realizes quick and quiet autofocusing, which is further complemented by an optimized AF algorithm to produce smoother focusing performance. The HSM also permits full-time manual focus control simply by rotating the focus ring at any time.
Build
The 35mm Art’s build quality offers a substantial improvement over previous Sigma lenses. The bayonet mount is constructed from brass for ensured accuracy and durability. It is made of Thermally Stable Composite material to withstand a greater range of temperatures. Additionally, rubber sealing is incorporated in the mount design to render it dust- and splash-resistant.
Movri Canada, providing the mail-delivery system, is set out to make the gear available at more affordable prices through online rentals.
