The Sigma 35mm T1.5 Cine High Speed Prime EF Mount Lens is designed specifically for cinematography and features industry-standard 0.8M gears, clickless iris with linear markings, a focus scale marked in feet in luminous easy-to-read paint, dampeners on each gear ring for silent operation and a 180º barrel rotation. Sigma's FF High Speed Prime Lenses combine the same high-quality optics and mechanics of their Global Vision still line in a cine-oriented design.

The Sigma Cine 35mm T1.5 FF Prime offers full-frame coverage, giving you a compact, lightweight, wide-angle cine lens. It’s capable of delivering 6K to 8K resolution, and its fast T1.5 maximum aperture allows depth-of-field control and low-light shooting flexibility. 

High-Quality Optics
This lens’s optical performance has the resolving power for high resolution shooting up to 8K. The optics are designed to minimize flare and ghosting while enhancing contrast, even in backlit conditions. With 9-bladed iris you’ll get exceptional bokeh effects, and maximum sharpness across the frame. 

Standardized Features
A common 95mm front diameter and similar physical attributes across the lens line make it easier and quicker to mount lens accessories such as matte boxes, follow focuses, and lens control motor. Color reproduction is standardized for easier color correction. The stepless, 0.8 pitch gear aperture and focus rings allow you to use follow focus without the need for clunky gears. Lateral aperture and distance markings make it easy to pull aperture and focus from either side. Electronic contacts in the mount provide lens data communication between the lens and the camera. 

Build Quality
This cine prime has no plastic parts – it sports an all-metal body with sealed rings and mount, making it splash and dust-proof. The coatings on Sigma's cine line are the same as on their ART series lenses, simplifying color correction when using Sigma lenses from other lines in the same project. To relieve stress on your camera's lens mount, a support foot is built into the dust- and water-resistant metal lens body.
